New content added to Biography Resource Center: 9/15/2009

We are pleased to announce the release of the following content to Biography Resource Center:

New biographies added from the latest volume of Authors & Artists for Young Adults include Gutzon Borglum; Ted Elliott; Terence Fisher; Mel Gibson; Tyree Guyton; Elizabeth Knox; Jennifer Roberson; and Lynd Ward.

New biographies added from the latest volume of Contemporary Authors New Revision include Alex Abella; Andrei Cherny; Herbert Druks; Janet Evanovich; Edward P. Jones; Reeve Lindbergh; Jon Scieszka; Kate Summerscale; Lori L. Tharps; and the gone-too-soon David Foster Wallace.

New biographies added to Biography Resource Center as part of our effort to add more Canadians to the database include federal minister of health Leona Aglukkaq; the band Arkells; actor Jay Baruchel; playwright Daniel Brooks; jazz singer Chantal Chamberland; broadcast journalist Mary Lou Finlay; director David Hackl; Korean-Canadian artist Tim Lee; husband-and-wife architect team Hani Rashid and Lise Ann Couture; poet Jacob Scheier; philanthropist Gary Slaight; Toronto Raptors coach Jay Triano; and choreographer Sergio Trujillo. These are all extremely meaty biographies, with most clocking in at well over 2000 words. If there are other nationalities you’d like to see us focus on in the near future, please let us know. Your feedback has great influence on our content additions.
