Egypt, Palestine and Israel Lesson Plans

Students will learn about the protests in Egypt by watching a series of videos, conduct research on the recent vote by the United Nations regarding Palestine and use Global Issues in Context to research the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict.

Lesson Plan 1- Egypt in the News 

Objective:  Students will learn about the recent protests by watching a series of videos

 

Lesson Plan 2- UN Votes for Palestine 

Objective:  Students will learn about the recent action taken by the United Nations with regards to Palestine by conducting research

 

Lesson Plan 3- Israeli-Palestinian Conflict (Using GIC) 

Objective:  Students will use Global Issues in Context to research the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict and create a flip-book to demonstrate their findings.
