Distracted Driving, and in particular cell phone use while driving, causes accidents that steal the lives of thousands of people each year in the United States alone. In fact, cell phone use is known to be a factor in at least half of all fatal crashes in recent years; the number of fatal accidents in which drivers do not admit cell phone use is unknown. With statistics like these, clearly distracted driving affects every community. The issue of distracted driving has been making national headlines, but more information needs to be shared.
